What you'll achieve
As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible to manage EHS compliance for Brazil's Manufacturing Plant.
You will work closely with manufacturing operations, process engineering, facilities, human resources (HR), and security.
You will be a key leader for the EHS team with focused roles in ISO 14K and 45K, EHS compliance, and EHS process management.
You will:
Manage environment, health and safety compliance programs and verify regulatory requirements are met.
Develop, review, and update EHS procedures, records, and other management system documents as required.
Consult and advise management of environment, health, and safety program status.
Manage and implement EHS programs for the sites assigned to including but not limited to electrical safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety, environment, and operational safety.
Develop, coordinate, and implement applicable EHS training.
Support required onsite teams such as emergency response teams.
Manage site ergonomic program including coordination of training, assessments, and follow-up actions for manufacturing tasks.
Conduct job hazard analysis, facilitate work area inspections, and consult with facilities and business partners for safe implementation of daily operations and maintenance.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
Post Graduation in Safety Engineering.
Advanced or Intermediate English level.
Comprehensive knowledge of theories, principles, concepts, and practices in Environment, Health, and Safety and basic knowledge of cross-functional areas.
Comprehensive knowledge of country, state, and local laws and regulations.
Ability to participate in corporate EHS projects or cross-functional work teams to address operational issues that have a regional and/or global significance.
Desirable Requirements
5 or more years' experience in the role as a Safety Engineer.
