In Brazil, general aviation areas are largely occupied by FBO (Fixed-Base Operator) services operating at competitive rates, with limited space for new operators. However, there is ample space available for aviation-related business development on the airside, which is unsuitable for traditional real estate investments. The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) market is experiencing a surge in demand, with other MRO centers, such as CGH and GYN, operating at maximum capacity with no expansion options. This high demand for aircraft maintenance is projected to continue through the end of the decade.
The project aims to support the development, planning, and marketing of an MRO facility and related aviation ventures. By working across sustainability, business development, legal, operations, and aviation development departments, the project will take these initiatives from concept through to contract signing, positioning the area as an attractive investment for new MRO industry players without impacting FBO operators.
