Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESSJob DescriptionMain Duties:Administration: Ensure that guests receive service up to Novotel standards.Customer Service: Ensure that guests receive service up to Novotel standards.Financial: Responsible for all food product-related costs.Operational:Ensure that all work stations at the beginning and end of each shift are adequately set up or broken down for the respective meal period.Constantly spot check food and quality service during all meal periods and ensure the food served meets portion control and quality standards.Perform as expediter during peak meal periods.Supervise and assist in food production.Assist in training and development of associates.Carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.Participate in food tasting panels.Fill up daily Store Requisition forms.Attend Chef's meetings when required.Regularly report all needed maintenance to the Chef.Assist in planning menus and involve in food promotion.Ensure that food displays and buffet setups are attractive.Ensure all banquet functions are served on time, of quality, and that food is sufficient.Maintain personal grooming and hygiene.Understand job descriptions of all colleagues.Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Personnel: Establish rapport among co-employees at all levels and training.Other Duties: Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Occupational Health & SafetyEmployee ResponsibilityAll employees must safeguard their health and safety, and the health and safety of others, in the workplace.Replacement and Temporary Mission:Be ready and responsible for any job that may be assigned by Management.QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational skillsIn-depth knowledge of the standards of baking, cooking, and grilling techniquesAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly learn new recipes and new cooking proceduresTime management skills
