This includes SIL network planning, software integration support, virtual machine creation and management, rack hardware design and installation, SIL test procedure development, verification, and validation of system functionality.He will be involved in solving complex problems associated with both the hardware and software systems.
Work will also include modification, and maintenance of system drawings (SIL network architecture, layout, cable drawings, rack drawings).ResponsibilitiesPerform and manage system integration, test and troubleshooting of various hardware/software configurationsInstalling and managing equipment in server racks and updating of the Lab(s) inventoryIntegrate hardware equipment for the Systems Integration Labs (SIL)Establish Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL)/Closed-Loop development and testing in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL)Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs.Participate in technical exchange meetings, interface with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.Integrating hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements, and the system and segment level teamsApply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specificationsMaintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirementsBasic QualificationsDoD 8570 IAT Level II certificate such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA Security, SSCP or GSECExperience with networking technologies.Experience with virtualized environments.Experience with Windows Workstations and Servers.Experience with Red Hat Enterprise LinuxDesired SkillsStrong and proven effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)Proven effective leadership and teaming skillsAnalytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovationMust be willing to mentor junior-level team membersCisco CCNA, and/or CCNP certification or equivalentExperience with networking technologies such as IGMP/multicast, OSPF, EIGRP, SNMPExperience with virtualized environments using VMware vSphereExperience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark/NPcapFamiliarity with Cisco networking equipment, Dell/HP storage solutions and serversJob Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract#J-18808-Ljbffr
