About the RoleThe Solutions Architect is responsible for coordinating the internal and external resources necessary to produce high-quality proposals from customer released Requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/Q).
This position works closely with Sales Teams and Delivery Managers to conduct the Business Approval Request for viable opportunities.
Once approved, this role is accountable for the development sound proposal strategies, solutions, themes, and discriminators that will be woven into the proposal response.
The internal resources typically include a sales manager, presales architect, professional services, business development, legal, as well as other technical and administrative resources.
The Solutions Architect works independently to develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams assigned to work proposal efforts.
The Solutions Architect ensures that the proposal response is compliant, compelling, and completed and delivered to the customer on schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:Lead the qualification process for complex global GLM sales opportunities supporting the Global Field Sales Rep. (20%)Accountable for the quality of the proposal materials including: proposal outline, compliance matrix, proposal management plan, proposal kick-off meeting materials, presentations and writing plans.
(40%)Manage the project plan related to proposals ensuring deadlines are met.
(15%)Coordinate and lead executive management proposal reviews.
(10%)Synchronize the cross-functional teams to develop proposal content including scope, solution, pricing and legalese.
(15%) Other Duties & Responsibilities:Additional duties as assignedMeets attendance and punctuality standards What We're Looking ForExperience:8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's Degree with Business Field of Study preferred.Bachelor's Degree with BA or Other Specialized, Advanced Technical Learning field of study required.Working Conditions:Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.On-call availability required as necessary.Frequent Travel Required (25%).
