Job Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. And will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable data pipelines, data models and data integration solutions. What You'll Do Here: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and workflows. Develop and maintain data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between various systems. Build and optimize data models and schemas for data storage and retrieval. Implement data quality and data validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement data solutions. Perform data profiling, analysis, and optimization to improve performance and efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and implement best practices in the organization. Document the data infrastructure, including data pipelines, workflows, and data transformation processes. Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and data lineage documentation. We Need a Person With: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle). Experience with data modeling and ETL tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehouse solutions.
