Human Resources DirectorThis position has direct supervisory responsibilities over a team of four HRBPs (managers and consultants) and serves as a coach and mentor for the most senior business leaders including members of the executive committee in the Latin America region, playing a crucial role in aligning human resources strategies with business goals. Throughout partnerships across the HR function, this role delivers value-added service to management and employees supporting business growth.The HR Business Partner role in ADP is constantly evolving, driven by emerging trends in the world of work and changes in the job market. These changes reflect the shift towards strategic HR management, data-driven decision-making, employee experience, talent management, and effective collaboration. This role requires solid experience in talent management, employer branding, and organizational development, demanding skills such as strategic thinking, data analysis, and effective communication.An effective level of business acumen is expected, including an understanding of the business unit's financials, strategic and operational plans, competition, and culture.The HR Business Director is a strategic liaison between HR and the business. These senior HR professionals have a deep understanding of the business needs and ensure that HR helps the business make an impact.Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.Conduct effective, thorough, and objective compliance investigations in partnership with the Legal and Global Ethics Team.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.Support leader's decisions about new hires, promotions, and transfers.Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.Support global initiatives deployment, including inclusion, diversity, and belonging activities developed by BRGs.Provide advice and guidance as trusted advisors to employees and leadership on HR matters.Lead and participate in HR projects to ensure they are delivered successfully within timelines and budget.Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations.Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Relationship building ability, interpersonal and customer service skills.Organization, planning skills, and attention to detail.Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.Education and Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and engagement.Bachelor's degree is required.Other job requirements:This is an office-based position at least 3 days per week: we work on a Hybrid model.
