The event strategist is responsible for the complete execution and success of the IBM events.
They create experiential client engagements and partner closely with agency partners to bring these plans to life.
They are responsible for understanding the Global Event Process including event marketing tools.
They collaborate closely with squad team members and sales teams to develop an optimized event plan.
Responsibilities:
Lead annualized global event planning and consistent design/delivery to build and generate pipeline.
Own and optimize events to meet business objectives based on stakeholder feedback.
Partner with key stakeholders including top account marketing & field marketing to define objectives, target audience, and develop plans including requirements for associated ABM/targeted audience actions.
Design individual event attendee experience within the client journey based on standard event kits.
Ensure sales alignment and events execution (with field marketing).
Manage post-event outcomes and performance with relevant stakeholders.
Handle end-to-end process and tools, including EMB entry, logo licenses, data privacy, edit upload, and debrief for core team events.
Ensure all legal, compliance, finance, and other required processes are efficiently completed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Four (4) years or more experience in marketing or related role.
Two (2) years or more experience in event marketing.
Experience with event and/or marketing platforms including Rainfocus, CVENT, Airtable, Marketo, etc.
preferred.
Ability to think strategically and manage resources to achieve objectives.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Fluent English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Master's degree in a related field, preferred.
