Location : Brazil – Remote, with travel as needed Employment Type : Full-Time Position Summary As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth in your assigned region.
You will act as a key representative of skie.io, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that address client needs.
Key Responsibilities: Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, including enterprise clients, SMBs, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to establish skie.io's presence in the market.
Lead Generation and Pipeline Development : Research and analyze potential clients, industry trends, and market dynamics to generate qualified leads.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using tools like Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or HubSpot.
Relationship Management : Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, IT managers, and AWS representatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and presenting skie.io's solutions to address them.
Sales Process Management : Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, marketing, and technical) to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration with AWS : Partner with AWS account managers to co-sell solutions and leverage AWS programs to drive joint opportunities.
Representation and Branding : Represent skie.io at industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Work with the marketing team to develop localized campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
Reporting and Analytics : Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline growth, and client feedback.
Provide insights to refine strategies and improve customer engagement.
Required Qualifications: Experience : 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in cloud services, SaaS, or IT solutions.
Proven track record of entering and growing new markets or verticals.
Knowledge : Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and the broader cloud computing ecosystem.
Familiarity with cloud optimization, managed services, and technology transformation solutions.
Skills : Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing long sales cycles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions in business terms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
Language : Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Tools : Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Comfortable using digital tools for lead generation and sales outreach (e.g., Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
Experience collaborating with AWS or other cloud providers to co-sell solutions.
Familiarity with regulatory and cultural nuances in the assigned region.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of qualified leads generated.
Growth in sales pipeline.
Number of deals closed and revenue generated.
Client retention and satisfaction scores.
Contribution to market penetration goals.
