Friday, November 22, 2024Purpose of the JobThe Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and production of professional marketing collateral and identifies programs that support corporate-level advertising, branding, and communication. This includes, but is not limited to promotional publications, advertising and communication campaigns, brochures, direct mail campaigns, signage and other high profile print media but also digital assets for multimedia and graphics projects. The Graphic Design Specialist will work closely with both the in-house Marketing Services team to manage and execute advertising and branding campaigns from concept to final design.Reporting to the MX Studio Design lead/Jr. Art Director, the Graphic Designer is responsible for executing multi-channel design concepts for regional HH Global clients.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute creative solutions to meet the client's needs, in line with their overall marketing strategy, working with HH Global account teams and Creative Production Services teams.Work alongside the US Art Director and the MX Jr Art Director, to monitor their own executions for quality, content and effectiveness to ensure the design creative is innovative and fresh in line with the regional client's visual identity guidelines.Complete development of specific projects from concept through design.Creating media-ready artwork.Team and Client presentations.Routing files for approval and releasing organized files to production management when approved.Template creation.Production Artist briefing, feedback and approval.Designing of sales and marketing materials including: product packaging, product brochures, logos, promotional flyers, catalogs, point-of-sale materials, sales presentation tools, direct mail pieces, trade show graphics and more.Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to marketing and communication challenges, finding the most effective way to get messages across in print and digital media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation , and various print and layout techniques – all while adhering to strict brand guidelines.Develop overall layout and production design of advertising, sales collateral, e-newsletters, emails, signage, and promotional items.Execute and manage production of communications deliverables.Use industry standard software packages to create layouts and design elements and to program graphics.Knowledge, Skills + Experience3+ years of relevant experience in graphics and design in an advertising or design agency or internal studio with minimal direction required (agency experience is a definite plus)..An exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions, candidates without a portafolio will not be considered.Understanding of printing procedures and requirements is a MUST.Must be proficient in the latest Adobe CC Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After effects is a PLUS.Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Google Workspace knowledge (Google Focs, Sheets and Slides).PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides presentation skills.Experience in working on both print and digital projects.Be able to concept / design from scratch and do artwork adaptations.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet defined deadlines while collaborating with other designers.Excellent attention to detail and English grammatical skills.Creative and detail oriented coupled with a strong work ethic.Present creative offerings to internal and external audiences professionally.Aware on an on-going basis of design trends, undertaking appropriate research when required, thus ensuring HH client's creative is innovative and appropriate for their regional audience.Able to work well with cross-functional teams.Possess extreme detail orientation, flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment simultaneously contributing to multiple projects each with aggressive development schedules.You are able to take direction well, both client briefs and creative direction.You are -- and want to be -- a true team player.English fluency required. (Medium/High level)High level understanding of responsive design, social media outputs and digital reformatting.Video editing and motion graphics knowledge a PLUS.Proficient in graphics design and communication applications including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other Adobe products as well as MS Office.1 to 2 years of progressive experience designing in retail graphicsExcellent typographic skills and verbal presentation skills.Exceptional attention to detail a MUST.Bachelor's degree required, with Graphic Arts, Marketing, Communication, Art or related concentration preferred.Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.Your resume will be reviewed by a member of our Recruiting team and we'll reach out to you directly if there's a fit.
