The Head of Total Reward – LATAM and Operations is a strategic partner responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs across our LATAM Region and Global Operations.
This position is challenging and dynamic, playing a critical role in ensuring the organization's ability to attract, retain, and motivate our talent by offering competitive and compelling total rewards packages.
Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy:
Develop and execute the total rewards strategy across the region and global operations, aligned with the Global rewards principles and the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
Ensure the deployment of Global Compensation & Benefits policies, as well as capture & propose potential necessary updates or improvements.
Occasionally lead the deployment of specific Compensation & Benefits projects globally.
Job Architecture:
Co-develop and deploy the new Galderma Global Job Architecture project in the Region, including the implementation across all LATAM Markets and Operations Plants.
Effectively communicate and train stakeholders on the new global job catalogue and new global grading methodology.
Ensure the Global Job Architecture is embedded across all HR processes in the Region.
Own the governance and grading of all the roles across the Region.
Compensation Management:
Oversee the implementation and administration of compensation structures, including base pay, bonuses, and allowances across the Region.
Collaborate with the Regional and Market leadership to ensure alignment between compensation practices and business performance, managing ad hoc compensation projects, improvements, and changes when needed.
Implement and monitor performance-related incentive programs.
Partner with HRIS and the "People Solution Centre" to ensure the execution of compensation administration activities seamlessly.
Bring data & analytics perspective across all compensation decisions.
Benefits Management:
Oversee the management of employee benefits programs, including health & life insurances, retirement plans, transportation benefits, and other perquisites.
Evaluate and make decisions on how to improve the benefits offerings to meet the changing needs of employees and maintain competitiveness across LATAM and the Operations plants.
Work closely with the Global Head of Benefits and business stakeholders to develop change plans and evaluate implications of the Benefits offering, as well as maintaining our benefits offering catalogue & database updated.
Global Mobility:
Participate in global mobility offers according to the Global Policy and support local HR teams in these moves, in coordination with the designated mobility vendor.
Recognition:
Support local employees' recognition initiatives and channel them through our global recognition program.
Coordinate the solution of potential issues and provide reports on its use and best practices for its enhancement at a Regional level.
Communication and Education:
Develop communication strategies to effectively convey the value of total rewards programs to employees and line managers.
Provide education and training to HR professionals and business leaders across the globe on total rewards best practices.
Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure total rewards programs comply with legal requirements across markets.
Implement and oversee compliance-related initiatives in collaboration with legal and HR colleagues.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers related to compensation and benefits programs.
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Compensation and Benefits theories and practices covering a multi-country/regional scope, with specific and relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits functions beyond generalist HR roles.
Global or international markets experience strongly preferred, being skilled and experienced in operating across cultures and in a multi-cultural environment.
MS Office Advanced (Excel, Power Point) and previous experience with Workday preferred.
Ability to perform research & analysis independently and effectively present recommendations to management with sophisticated presentations to get stakeholder approvals.
Must be results driven, hands-on team player who can function effectively and independently in a fast-paced dynamic and international environment.
Ability to gain trust and respect to support decision-making processes by providing business knowledge and functional competence.
Ability to work with details but effectively communicate conceptual level when needed.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Education:
Master's / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
