Intern Finance - Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

The Hilton corporate internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world professional experience in a global company. The program is intended to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.
The internship will be on-site in our Rio De Janeiro, Brazil office for a period of 6 months. The internship is set to commence in the final quarter of 2024. The work schedule will be 6 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday through Friday.
**HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
**What your day-to-day will be like**:
- Analyze Hotels and Corporate financial information
- Partner important projects for our Finance Shared Services Office
- Assist in the posting of daily journal entries
- Help with the preparation of periodical financial reports
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes
- Work in reconciling activities of account receivables and payables, banks, or taxes

**You have these minimum qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Available to work schedule from our corporate office based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (6 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday - Friday)
**It would be useful if you have**:
- Internship or work experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience with data analysis or using data to make decisions
- Bilingual and able to fluently speak, read, and write in English and Portuguese.
