**Role overview**:
As the Lead Automation QA, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks. You'll manage and guide a small size team of QA engineers, ensure the quality of software releases, and drive improvements in testing processes.
Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining high product standards and optimizing the testing lifecycle.
**Product Overview**:
Develop an online gambling platform becoming part of one of the core teams to develop new features, integrations, and functionalities to redefine the gambling ecosystem.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Automation Strategy Development:
- Designing and implementing an automation strategy and framework that aligns with project requirements and goals.
Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
Automation Scripting:
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) to ensure robust test coverage.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Integration:
- Implementing automated testing in CI/CD pipelines to enable early detection of issues and ensure quick feedback to developers.
Defect Management:
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects throughout the testing process, and working with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
Performance Testing:
Test Reporting and Metrics:
- Generating test reports, documenting test results, and providing metrics to stakeholders to assess product quality and project progress.
Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Regularly reviewing and updating automated test scripts to accommodate changes in software functionality, architecture, and technology stack.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss issues, and provide feedback on quality-related matters.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in QA automation, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
**Must have**:
- ** 5+ years of experience in QA automation** with a strong background in building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- ** Proficiency in scripting languages** (e.g., Java, Kotlin) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- ** Experience with CI/CD pipelines** and integration of automated tests into development workflows.
- ** Strong leadership and communication skills** to manage a QA team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in IGaming/Gamdev industry will be a plus
- Advanced English level
