The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entry-level position focused on prospecting and generating leads for the sales team.
The SDR is responsible for identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and qualifying leads to ensure they meet the company's criteria before handing them off to senior sales staff for further development.
As a Sales Development Representative you will: Conduct outbound lead generation through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify potential prospects.
Research potential leads and identify key decision-makers within target companies.
Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and determine if they meet the company's ideal customer profile.
Use discovery techniques to gather information about prospects' pain points and challenges.
Qualify leads based on company criteria and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads using a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Track all interactions and update lead information to ensure data accuracy and organization.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and strategies to attract more leads.
Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams on lead quality and common objections.
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for outreach activities, qualified leads, and scheduled meetings.
Requirements Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
Ability to handle rejection and persist in follow-up efforts.
Basic understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify customer pain points.
Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
