Drives a vehicle with daily contact with a limited number of customers or with internal parties and completing any related administration or paperwork.
**General job description**:
- Execute pickup, deliveries and package verification process x invoices.
- Drive Trucks on trips of varied routes, through pre-established itineraries, include interstate and overnight routes.
- Provide necessary documentation relating to the collection, delivery and transfer of packages, delivery records, vehicle conditions; Duties/Taxes Invoices clearly and accurately.
- Ensure own personal and general safety at all times by following the company's safety policies and procedures.
- Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with specific standards and corporate policies, ensuring cargo integrity;
- Maintain the self appearance, as well as appearance of uniform and vehicle used.
- Can work in different routes, covering vacations of other teamates
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Education**:
- Elementary School diploma
- Must have the appropriate license to operate a heavyweight vehicle.
- Driver's License Type E - Maximum of 5 Points (fines).
- Must have valid Dangerous Goods Specialist certificate (MOPP - Movimentação Operacional de Produtos Perigosos)
**Minimum Experience**:
- Six (6) months experience as Truck Driver
- Previous FedEx driving experience strongly preferred
**Minimum Required Skills**:
- Flexible TIme required
- Have knowledge with tracking system (autotrac or similar);
- Possess knowledge of traffic laws and safety standards
- Have no history of a preventable traffic accident in the last twelve (12) months;
- Ability to interpret maps and knowledge of interstate routes;
- Availability to travel on interstate routes;
- Ability to operate mechanized loading/GSE.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Customer contact/package handing experience preferred.
- Good human relations and verbal communications skills.
- Neat appearance since customer contact is involved.
