Product Manager

As a product-led organisation, Product at Ebury drives strategy for the business, and as Product Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of your payments areas within the business, for both new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, from conception to launch and performance monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
Communication: Clearly articulate product requirements and needs to leadership, business, and technical stakeholders.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory changes impacting the payments sector. Conduct market research and data analysis to inform product development and enhancements.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and global teams (marketing, sales, operations, compliance) to ensure effective product development and launch.
Performance Metrics: Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of products and initiatives, reporting results to senior management.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all products within your domain comply with local and international regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with product offerings.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a product role within a high-growth fintech, bank, or acquiring business.
Agile Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Jira and a comprehensive understanding of all Agile ceremonies.
Product Delivery: Proven track record of successfully delivering product solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Strategic Planning: Experience in defining product strategy, prioritising initiatives, and structuring product operations to optimise business outcomes.
Backlog Management: Proficient in building, prioritising, and refining backlogs, ensuring they are visible and transparent to all stakeholders.
Progress Monitoring: Experience in tracking work progress, addressing production issues during sprints, and removing impediments to facilitate product launch.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work alongside engineering teams, leading without hierarchy, and aligning with internal departments for streamlined operations.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have:
Experience in a high-growth or scale environment.
Familiarity with acquiring businesses, software vendors, payment schemes, and banks.
