This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The Purchase Manager will work closely with various departments, including maintenance, engineering, logistics and operations, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement processesand supplier relationships. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluatetheir capabilities. Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and ensuresupply chain resilience. Lead the selection and negotiation process for key suppliers, ensuring alignmentwith organizational goals and objectives.Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of aviation parts, equipment, and services, ensuringadherence to specifications and timelines. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, suppliercoordination, and delivery management with logistic department. Implement best practices and processes to enhance procurement efficiency andeffectiveness.Supplier and Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues related todelivery, quality, or service. Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier performance and implementimprovement plans as needed.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of aviation parts and equipment to ensure adequate supplyand minimize stockouts. Implement inventory control measures and optimize inventory turnover rates. Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast demand and manage inventory accordingly.Work experience:Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the aviation industry, with a strong understanding of aviation parts, equipment, and services.Educational:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees may be advantageous.Advanced / Fluent English is mandatory
