Bring your unique energy to our team of more than 20,000 people worldwide, and discover a rewarding, fulfilling, and varied career that you can take in anywhere you want to go.Job PurposeCoordinate the Rigid Pipeline Engineering Department, planning, coordinating and controlling the activities of critical analysis of proposals, work and material requirements, and project development, providing guidelines for the preparation of macro programming of activities, leading the team in pipeline design, structural calculations of equipment and accessories, subsea construction and fabrication processes.Job DescriptionCoordinating the Rigid Piping Engineering Department, planning, coordinating and controlling the activities of critical analysis of proposals, work and material requests, as well as project development, providing guidelines for the preparation of macro-programming of activities, leading the team in the design of rigid piping, structural calculations and manufacturing processes.Appointing engineers in charge of project execution, defining strategies and sizing human, technical and material resources to meet project requirements.Verifying compliance with the Group's design rules, drawing up training plans, assigning tasks, setting goals and managing subordinates to ensure excellence in meeting the technical specifications required by the customer.Liaising between the EDR and other areas involved in the project, promoting and participating in meetings, discussing and setting priorities, and shifting internal resources based on information received from the Board and PMT to avoid conflicts and enable the project requirements to be met.Providing technical advice in the process of purchasing launching equipment and accessories for offshore operations, proposing and participating in technical solutions in the definition of rigid line launching and subsea construction operations and in the design of equipment and accessories, discussing them with the project team to minimize costs and deadlines and optimize results.Approving commercial and manufacturing drawings, analyzing the consistency and conformity of concepts and documents with the Group's design rules, and signing them as the responsible person to ensure that the customer's needs are met.Managing the projects developed by the department, evaluating the routines for the physical and electronic archiving of documents in a network or card library, monitoring procedures, implementing measures and discussing alternatives to maximize the control of the data inherent in each project and the quality of the information provided to the client.You are meant for this job if:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Naval or Aeronautical).Master's degree in Engineering (desired but not mandatory).Doctoral's degree in Engineering (desired but not mandatory).Experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry/Subsea.General understanding of SURF infrastructure.General awareness of standards and regulations such as API and DNV.Ability to research and apply the required codes to given areas as needed.Experience undertaking the design and advanced structural analyses for engineering in general.Experience undertaking the design and analysis of subsea rigid pipelines (desired but not mandatory).Experience with FE analysis (desired ABAQUS, but not required) and FEM knowledge.Ability with MathCAD and programming languages (i.e.: python and VBA).Knowledge with AutoCAD, SAGE 3D Profile (desired, not required), ABAQUS (desired but not required), PRCI AGA (desired but not required), DNV Fat FREE (desired but not required), etc.Full command of the English Language.SkillsCommunication ManagementProject ManagementExcellent training and mentoring skillsAdvanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding business challenges and what drives customer valuesLeadership CompetenciesAct with AgilityDemonstrate Customer IntimacyLead with a Lean MindsetProblem SolvingTake Data Driven DecisionsBeing a global leader in the energy industry requires an inclusive and diverse environment.
