Join us in shaping our future–and yours.Role reports to: Baby Research Associate DirectorTravel %: 10%What you will doThe Scientist R&D is responsible for the execution and implementation of innovation projects to support the Regional product pipeline for Baby care, combining requirements on product performance & quality, together with strong consumer insight. This will involve working with our scientists, packaging, analytical teams, quality & process development teams, so strong communication skills are essential to ensure our innovations deliver On-Time-in-Full.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering innovation projects for Baby care in Latin America.Develop learning plans to ensure R&D deliverables for a project are mapped out and met.Design and execute new product development, translating business needs into concrete R&D deliverables, according to the agreed brief and consumer needs, attending claim requirements, cost targets within budget and timeline.Plan, execute, and report laboratory trials – managing ingredients and formulation documentation to high standards in Kenvue systems.Understand the impact of ingredients & formula design on product performance (e.g. stability) and experience (e.g. sensory) and adapt to meet required criteria.Conduct Root Cause Analysis to address problems that may occur at any stage of the development process, from lab scale through pilot plant to production scale.Create rigorous data sets that allow business leaders to make data-based decisions.Coordinate and execute an end-to-end process launch for New/Existing Products and Commercial Innovation, working in partnership with manufacturing plant, engineering, sourcing, quality, and other stakeholders.Represent R&D in multi-functional teams and ensure compliance with Quality procedures and regulatory requirements.What we are looking forRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related areas.Minimum of 2-3 years experience (internship is also valid) in Research & Development for formulated products.Intermediate English is required for reading and writing.Teamwork; Ability to work in a multi-functional team; sense of urgency.What's in it for youAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges based on factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development Opportunities.Employee Resource Groups.This list could vary based on location/region.*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
