NoOffer Description The opportunity is for the project belonging to the Animal Health Technology Platform (PTECSAN), which objective will be the selection and development of a Rapid Test, multiplex tests using flow cytometry and/or Luminex techniques, and a biomarker test for RT-Lamp testing for Viral respiratory infections in poultry.The researcher responsible for the project will conduct in silico analysis and epitope prediction for the Rapid Test and for multiplex immunodiagnosis, in addition to producing and purifying antigenic proteins specific for these systems.
The researcher will also perform the conjugation of potential antigens to colloidal gold nanoparticles and latex beads, and multiplex immunodiagnosis via flow cytometry/Luminex, ensuring the accuracy and efficacy of the diagnostic platforms.
The researcher will also be responsible for analyzing and selecting target regions for viral detection, designing specific primers for the development of the LAMP prototype, and validating the system.Prerequisites for the position: Degree in biotechnology, biological sciences, or related fields with a doctorate in an area related to the project based on biotechnology and molecular biology.
The candidate is also expected to assist graduate students in analyzing their data.
Experience in projects involving cellular and molecular biology detection techniques applied to animal virology; experience proven by courses and scientific articles in the development of rapid tests; experience in flow cytometry as a diagnostic method; experience with bioinformatics techniques for in silico prediction systems is desirable.
