Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a passion for financial accuracy and experience in managing finances for international operations.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our growing international money transfer business by ensuring strong financial management.
Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare financial reports and statements in compliance with regulations.
Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with international tax laws.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting for cross-border transactions.
Support audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accountant (experience in international money transfer or financial services is a plus).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (experience with IFRS or GAAP is preferred).
Familiarity with tax compliance, especially in an international context.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work with accounting software and financial tools.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications like CRC (Brazil), CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus).
Big 4 experience is desired.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams (Advanced English is required).
