Challenge Our client is searching for a talented Senior Data Analyst / BI Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on delivering strategic insights and solutions within the finance sector.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced SQL, data modeling, and Power BI development, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into actionable insights.
What you'll do - Work with with the Account Managers to help the client most sophisticated customers
implement custom dashboarding solutions in Looker
- Build technical design documents for custom solutions
- Build templated Looker dashboards that can be deployed across the customer base
- Provide internal technical support to the Account Management team on the client data
and building complex visualizations in Looker
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously learning and evolving in a fast-paced environment
- Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to improve the standard data model and product functionality
In order to succeed in this position, you will need: Mandatory skills - Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are comfortable working 9-5 EST - we have a fair amount of flexibility for people to get their work done whenever works for them, but our core hours are Eastern Timezone. - Strong experience as a business intelligence engineer, data engineer, professional
services engineer, or similar role
- Experience working with customers
- Strong proficiency in SQL data modeling
- Demonstrated experience working with Looker to both visualize data and build explores via LookML and Liquid
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A continuous learner and critical thinker, with a passion for solving complex technical
challenges
