The IT Senior Manager - LatAm will be responsible for overall IT operations in LatAm, including management of a diverse and multidisciplinary team of skilled IT professionals. This role will work alongside cross-functional sales, marketing, digital, operations, and finance teams on key projects and work closely with business unit leaders to develop and implement an information technology strategy aligned with current and long-term business vision and objectives.
**Essencial duties and responsibilities**:
Accountable for smooth functioning of distribution centers, manufacturing plants and 3PLs in various countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico.
Contributes to business planning with executives so that future IT opportunities and challenges can be considered, and the organization's IT strategy can be aligned with other business strategies.
Evaluates the company's long-term information needs and develops a consistent strategy with them and that can contribute to the organization's business objectives.
Follow guidance and rollout the IT Global security strategy ensuring that appropriate security systems and processes are working to protect the privacy and integrity of the organization's information and related intellectual property for LATAM region.
Liaising with department heads, system users and other stakeholders to ensure maximum effectiveness of business and IT operations.
Align with strategic vision of the company while ensuring that IT investments are aligned to business goals.
Stay on top of industry trends, new products/services, vendor software releases.
Research and analyze strategically relevant platform opportunities and make recommendations on modern technologies.
Manage the program financial operating and capital budget processes.
Ensure overall adherence to location regulations and guidelines.
**Required knowledge, skills and abilities**:
In-depth knowledge of project management, operations, and processes.
Good understanding of SAP and Salesforce platforms/modules.
Strong background as ITBP for commercial business processes and operations (sales, marketing, etc)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills and follow through while coordinating multiple projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to partner with the business and effective balance the needs of the business and IT Global Guidance.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence others.
**Education and experience**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
Experience in managing a multidisciplinary IT team.
Experience working in in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry is desirable.
This position will be based in São Paulo's Administrative office and is eligible to our Hybrid Work Policy (2 days remote and 3 days in the office).
