About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer who combines deep user research expertise with strong design execution skills. In this role, you'll drive user-centred design solutions through systematic research, analysis, and iterative design processes.
Core Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design processes from research and discovery through to final implementation Plan and conduct comprehensive user research including interviews, usability testing, and other qualitative research methods Transform complex user data and feedback into actionable insights and compelling design solutions Create and maintain research documentation, including synthesis of findings, personas, journey maps, and research repositories Develop and present clear research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders at all levels Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems and opportunities based on user research Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on user research Proven track record of conducting user interviews and usability testing sessions Proven high level of experience with Cloud Optimization, FinOps, and Kubernetes optimization industry Experience in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions Strong portfolio demonstrating how research insights led to successful design solutions Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to diverse audiences Experience with research tools and methodologies (e.g., interview protocols, usability testing, survey design) Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) Key Competencies Research & Analysis Expert at planning and conducting user interviews Experience with quantitative analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo, Hotjar or equal alternatives) Strong ability to synthesize research data into actionable insights Experience with various research methodologies and when to apply them Design & Implementation Ability to translate research insights into effective design solutions Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries Experience with iterative design processes and rapid prototyping Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices Communication & Leadership Excellence in stakeholder management and presentation Strong facilitation skills for workshops and research sessions Ability to influence product strategy through research insights Experience mentoring junior team members What Success Looks Like Consistently deliver high-quality research insights that drive product decisions Successfully lead and complete complex research projects independently Demonstrate measurable improvements and impact in product metrics through design solutions Build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members Contribute to the evolution of our design and research practices We're looking for someone who is passionate about understanding users and creating impactful solutions.
