Position Summary
We're seeking a talented PHP Developer with expertise in React and WordPress to join our dynamic team. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining a wide range of web applications and websites, with a particular emphasis on leveraging the power of WordPress and its block editor (Gutenberg).
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and websites using PHP, React, and WordPress.
Extend and customize WordPress functionality, including custom theme and plugin development.
Create custom blocks and utilize the block editor's capabilities to build dynamic, engaging content layouts.
Integrate with third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other developers.
Help in managing software development, making new product releases, and communicating the information to our customers.
Help lead the development and ensure high quality outputs.
Help design team with the technical solution.
Help with code reviews and enforce coding standards.
Closely oversee the performance of critical tasks and work with project leads to keep projects on scope, on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Experience in full stack web development with a focus on PHP.
Demonstrated proficiency in React for building modern, interactive user interfaces.
In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and the block editor with 5+ years of experience developing WordPress.
Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Bonus: Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), and DevOps practices.
Double Bonus: Experience using MemberMouse or AccessAlly.
