About Cylynt:
Cylynt is a leading developer of anti-piracy and license compliance technology. We are an innovative company that has already established itself as the preferred supplier to industry-leading enterprise software companies. With comprehensive software telemetry and SaaS-based business intelligence solutions, our technology allows customers to track unlicensed corporate usage of their valuable software and convert unlicensed corporate users into paying customers.
Cylynt is seeking to recruit a number of Software Analysts to join our team in Rio de Janeiro who will be responsible for building the library of software signatures for our latest product. These positions will be on-site, and you must be willing to commute to our office in Rio de Janeiro city centre.
Responsibilities:
Analyse packages containing pirated/tampered software to determine the files and techniques involved.
Analyse piracy trends and approaches.
Define software "fingerprints" to detect this pirated software. Fingerprints are based on naming and attributes of the file(s).
Report to the project manager clearly and effectively.
Raise impediments quickly.
Assist other members of the team in a collaborative fashion.
Profile:
A technical background, preferably in the area of IT, but engineering and maths also suitable.
An interest in technical problem solving.
An understanding of how software products are built and engineered.
An understanding of software deployment and troubleshooting.
Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and clear communication.
Will consider third-level students in their final year, currently studying towards a relevant degree.
