The OpportunityAs a Software Engineering Manager, you'll be a manager of an engineering team building Fuel iX (), a WillowTree AI platform that helps enterprises manage and accelerate AI-fueled intelligent experiences (iX).
This role is pivotal in enhancing and evolving our industry-leading AI engine, ensuring it delivers flexibility, control, productivity, and trust to enterprises worldwide.Location and FlexibilityThis is a hybrid role.
This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times/ week or 8 days/ month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/ week or 12 days/ month).
Our office culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.Qualifications You are driven by curiosity and enthusiastic about learning new technologiesBelieve in autonomy and taking initiativeHave professional engineering experience — we're thinking at least 5 years building digital products, and at least 2 years leading a teamHave managed a team of software engineers building digital products, and been responsible for growing the people on the team through goal-setting, coaching and feedbackAre comfortable having difficult conversations and always have your clients' and teammates' best interests in mindHave familiarity with CI/CD, Agile techniques for managing work, pairing, mobbing, and shift-left testingHave owned the delivery of a complete digital product, with code that is durable, secure, scalable and thoroughly testedCan simplify and communicate about complex problems around technology, business processes, user experience and development tasksHave worked on AI product development or have knowledge on AI development best practices.
