GET TO KNOW OUR AREA: The Senior Process Engineer provides knowledge of process chemistry, process safety, environmental requirements, product quality and process engineering, supporting radical focus on outcomes for medium/long-term goals in Glyphosate production area.
This individual directly supports the production engineer in solving problems and conducting projects with greater technical complexity foster collaboration and learning across teams. It is also a function that is widely available for operations and acts in analysis and anticipation of potential process vulnerabilities that may impact operational reliability, efficiency, safety and quality. She/He is the technical reference for the Glyphosate production area.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Develop process studies and identify operational and process improvements;
Monitor and analyze key process variables using statistical tools and define the required troubleshooting;
Perform optimization, investment and capacity increase projects;
Conduct analysis and support of process safety failures;
Conduct the approval and qualification process for new suppliers;
Active participation in global optimization communities;
Propose and drive process control and automation improvements;
Ensure key environmental aspects / impacts of the production process are in compliance with legislation and ensure compliance with technical product specifications, legal and corporate requirements;
Understand, respond and support the process of PSM, PMF and audits.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION? Must have: Complete Graduation in Chemical, Production or Biochemical Engineering;
Advanced English;
Robust experience in production or engineering;
Experience on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence tools;
Statistic skills (Black or Green Belt Certification preferred);
Highly effective communication and problem solving skills;
Strong knowledge in stakeholder management;
Ability to deal with people at all levels from ground floor to senior management;
Nice to Have: Intermediate Spanish;
Experience in Glyphosate production area.
