NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new EU funded project in Angola and is looking to identify individual experts to carry out the assignment. The main objective of this assignment is to position the European Union as a trusted and reliable partner in Angola, to increased corporate identity awareness and perception of the European Union among younger, EU neutral/unaware audiences, to strengthened partnership with influencers to enhance the European Union's positive perception in the country.
Location: Luanda, Angola with some missions outside the capital.
Duration: The intended start date is 03/02/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date . Requested profile: Key expert 1: Team leader (Communications Expert) Qualifications and skills Master's degree or equivalent degree in public relations, communication, journalism, marketing and advertisement or any other fields relevant to this assignment. OR a Bachelor's degree in the above mentioned subjects; in this case, an additional equivalent of three years of professional experience in the communication sector will have to be demonstrated in addition to the general professional experience (see requirements below). Proficiency in English (oral and written) and in Portuguese. General professional experience A minimum of 10 (ten) years of professional experience in communication and/or marketing and advertisement. Specific professional experience Within the above ten years of professional experience required:
At least 2 (two) years of professional experience working specifically in the fields of public diplomacy and/or communication on aid development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid; or equivalent assignment(s) totalling 24 months. At least 2 (two) years of experience as a team leader in overseeing and coordinating organisation of communication activities of national or international audience or equivalent assignment(s) totalling 24 months. At least 2 (two) years of demonstrated experience in managing online and offline public communication campaigns; or equivalent of assignment(s) totalling 24 months.
