Creates and maintains agile work breakdown structure for all functional testing projects, and participates in agile ceremonies
Initiates testing strategy, conditions data, and creates test plan for an application under test
Designs, scripts, configures, and executes functional automation to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for functional automation, stability, and performance against functional and non-functional requirements
Provides summaries, assessments, and metrics of the application's quality and performance, emphasizing trends over time, conducting deep dive analysis when necessary
Diagnoses, tracks, and manages functional issues to resolution in testing environments
Enforce compliance with quality testing standards
Monitors and analyzes automation health for efficiency and retention
Integrate automated tests with Test Management tools to write test results
Automates the conditioning of existing test data and provisioning of synthetic test data
Provides direction and technical guidance to select the proper framework, tools, setup, and strategies for test data, automation testing
Fosters collaboration and participates in the QA Engineering Community of Practice, a technical platform that enables knowledge sharing, cross-collaboration, standardization, and innovation
Integrates Automation solutions into the CICD pipeline for automation quality controls.
Collaborates with application development teams to provide automation solutions
Participate in developing acceptance criteria, test design, and Automation recommendations in the early phases of the project
Perform scoping of applications to determine whether different testing practices are required
Provides support and mentorship for functional automation processes, tools, and best practices
Creates, maintains, and enhances automation frameworks in alignment with Regions' standards and tools
Implements and verifies the integration of testing best practices into the application development lifecycle
