The ATS contract Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract lifecycle management function across ATS (MM partners and network and SC suppliers) with a focus on transportation and logistics-related contracts. This position involves strategic planning, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the company's contractual relationships are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives.Key job responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management strategy, incorporating best practices, industry standards, and the organization's unique needs.Lead the creation and continuous improvement of contract management policies, procedures, and tools to drive efficiency, consistency, and compliance across the organization.Oversee the contract review, negotiation, and implementation processes, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure optimal contractual terms and conditions.Influence and engage a team of contract administrators and analysts, including performance management, network development, and operational excellence initiatives.Serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, such as procurement, finance, and ATS network engineering, advising on contractual risks, opportunities, and the financial and operational implications of contract decisions.Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure the seamless integration of contract management with the organization's broader processes and systems.Analyze contract data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize the contract management function, connected with SC site leaders and ATS Execution leaders.Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies related to contract management, and implement appropriate adaptations.Champion the adoption of innovative contract management solutions, such as contract lifecycle management software, to enhance visibility, efficiency, and compliance.Represent the contract management function on cross-functional projects, serving as a subject matter expert and driving the successful integration of contract-related requirements.A day in the life:The Transportation Capacity Manager's day is a dynamic balance of tactical and strategic planning, diving deep into operational details when necessary. They also facilitate workshops to optimize resource usage and improve visibility.
