We deliver a range of interactive educational solutions, and we're looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer to help us enhance our digital presence and optimize the user experience on our WordPress-powered platforms.
Role Overview:
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for managing and developing our WordPress websites, ensuring seamless functionality, and improving user experience. This role will require advanced knowledge of WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin development, and performance optimization. You will collaborate closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to implement technical solutions that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of WordPress websites for IMPROV Learning.
Customize existing themes and develop custom themes or plugins as required.
Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and overall site performance optimization.
Implement and maintain integration with external systems (e.g., Shopify, HubSpot, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring the site remains secure and functional.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement website changes and new features.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress and web development best practices.
Conduct regular website audits to improve functionality, SEO, and user experience.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Knowledge of website security practices and compliance.
Strong understanding of website performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching, minification, CDN).
Experience with WordPress integrations, including CRM, analytics, and third-party plugins.
Knowledge of web design best practices, including mobile-first design and responsive layouts.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and site analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience with eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
