Create customer documentation for a wide range of technologies including modems, Edge Gateways, IoT Portal, and Cloud interfaces. This position requires extensive skills and experience in preparing technical drawings and details flow diagrams of software programs. The Technical writer will train and investigate customer complaints to understand the nature and scope of issues. ResponsibilitiesConfer with engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts to gather data, create technical documentation, and write technical reports for all Telit's productsCreate customer documentation for a wide range of technologies including modems, Edge Gateways, IoT Portal, and Cloud interfacesPrepare technical drawings and detailed specificationsCreate flow diagrams describing software logicPrepare customer documentation plansFollow and improve development processes for technical documentationUnderstand source code samples in GO/JavaUtilize distributed source code management systems such as GitTest and develop content, including SDK/ API reference manuals, user guides, online help on DITA standards, and various guides for different audiencesTrain other members of Telit's technical staffCreate technical documentation processesTrain employees on our technical documentation processConduct testing of Telit's developed Application Programming Interface test cases and confirm test cases are working as expectedUnderstand GO language or equivalentDevelop API documentation based on GO codeDevelop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for teams within US and Global teams.Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.Desired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.3 to 5 years of experience as an information development engineer, software developer, technical writer, or related electronics engineering role.Experience must include creating technical customer documents for a wide variety of products.Candidates should understand programming languages and tools used to create those products.Hands-on experience with GO, HTML/CSS, Java, Javascript, C Java, and Visual Studio.Documentation Tools: Adobe FrameMaker PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, MadCap Flare, oXygen, Help & Manual, CMS - Astoria, MOSS, RoboHelp, XMLSpy, Camtasia, XMetaL, SnagIT, MS Visio, DITA, DTD, Conversion tables (CT), EDD and Templates, XML, XSLT, SGML.Continuous Integration: GitLab, JenkinsLocation: Remote
