SUMMARY OF THE ROLEManage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material (RM), Purchased Finished Goods (PFG), and Direct Packaging Material (DPM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers.Responsibilities:Participate in the planning process in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.Assist the Purchasing Manager in assessing the optimal logistics solution considering packaging type and size, batch size, use of distributors, transportation, local customs regulations, local laws and regulations, etc. for all Raw Materials (RM) and communicate the findings to the relevant category managers.Assist the Purchasing Manager in ensuring that supplier invoice control is carried out in accordance with company guidelines, that relevant customs regulations and procedures are followed and facilitated, and that all supplier invoices are paid on time for designated suppliers/categories.Monitor and report to the Purchasing Manager on agreed KPIs.Import of raw materials, packaging, finished goods and indirect products (maintenance parts, PPE, equipment) to maintain factory operations.Quotation of freight rates and coordination of collections with freight forwarder.Analysis of imported cargo documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL and AWB and documents for LI).Monitoring of DI registration and clearance with the Customs Broker.Continuous updating of import processes in the ERP system import module.Placing orders for finished products with other Jotun factories around the world.Follow-up with the sales department on intercompany finished product import processes, informing deadlines and possible unforeseen events in the import process.Assisting the tax department in calculating import taxes, to prepare entry invoices.Monitoring concession acts for the use of Drawback on imports of Raw Materials and Packaging.Analyzing and evaluating the use of special customs regimes in import processes.Controlling and supervising import deliveries to the factory, keeping the production and logistics departments up to date and respecting the daily limits for receiving cargo.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERWHAT WE LOOK FORJoin Our Team and Make an Impact!
