**About the team**:
You report organizationally to the Director Americas and functionally to the General Manager (based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) and will work with colleagues in North, Central and South America.
**About the role**:
In this new role you will be assisting the procurement team in logistics services (i.e. seafreight, train, trucking, maintenance & repair, cleaning) for all our business across the Americas.
You will assist in securing existing and future needed capacity against the lowest integral supply chain costs, and working pro-actively towards sustainable results with the suppliers embedding high safety, quality and operational performance.
Your main areas of responsibilities are:
- execute negotiations with service suppliers
- Build and maintain long-term win-win relationships with (inter)national suppliers
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes against the lowest integral supply chain costs.
- Assist in contracts, SLA's and other relevant documents.
- Administrative support to procurement processes and registration of contract data in the Transport Management System (Transfusion).
**About you**:
- Knowledge of international logistics supply base (trucking, shipping and rail) including best practices and contractual/legal arrangements.
- Experience in participating in projects.
- Proactive and a strong drive to constantly improve and achieve results.
- High level of learning agility, personal development and flexibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
