**Job Description**:
- The purpose of the Process Specialist - ITP is to drive execution, delivery and maintenance of global process standards for ITP across the LATAM E2E process, to execute opportunities for improvement, to understand changing business requirements and to ensure involvement of the GPO at the right point in time for ITP related projects / decision making.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for driving calibration of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and identifying improvement opportunities from performing process analysis
- Responsible for ensuring adherence and alignment of LATAM ITP processes to the Global Process standards
- Responsible for understanding local/regional/functionally-specific business expectations and for ensuring that these are incorporated into the appropriate governance and design forums
- Responsible for supporting the Global process owner to drive and execute smooth functional global processes for LATAM ITP by providing SME advice to GSS and BU stakeholders on process standards, solutions and technologies
- Responsible for supporting the GPO ITP to develop and create process standards and flow diagrams for LATAM
- Responsible for maintaining standard ITP global process documentation for LATAM as a single source of truth; responsible for maintaining the permitted exceptions to the global process
- Responsible for managing and executing requests for process change originating in the business
- Responsible for gathering process and controls data to measure process performance, conduct root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement
- Responsible for providing support to the ITP Global process owner and working "hand in hand" with the Finance Business Improvement team to gather market research for new and innovative solutions on behalf of the LATAM ITP processes
- Responsible for working with stakeholders from Group Risk and Control and Group Finance to draft and publish policies relating to LATAM ITP processes
- Works "hand in hand" with the ITP GSS Process Delivery Lead to ensure GSS compliance with the global processes and ensure constant, reliable measurement of the proper metrics and KPIs is needed to benchmark and optimize performance on an ongoing basis
- Works with the FinBI programme management to co-ordinate and execute the ITP Process design consultative group and documenting the agreed key decisions and outcomes for circulation with attendees
**Strategy & Transformation**:
- Responsible for supporting validation of business cases against strategic fit and the overall process roadmap.
- Responsible for supporting the execution of process changes based on driving automation and finance system capability integration
- Responsible for maintaining the ITP standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material and ensure that they are kept up to date as changes are implemented
- Supports the benchmarking of the Global ITP process against best practices to determine gaps, opportunities for improvement, and alignment with commercial design requirements
- Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- English language (Writing and speaking fluency)
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Mining sector desirable
