The Special Project Management Team is dedicated to leading a diversified project portfolio since the implementation of new solutions to service activities until new platform technologies across Vestas LATAM and conduct handover projects of new sites to service. This multidisciplinary team collaborates with various internal departments to tackle complex challenges and ensure the successful achievement of project goals.
Responsibilities: Your primary role is to lead projects of new technical solutions in service, aiming cost-out initiatives to reduce LPF and improve processes, support the global team in implementing new turbine platform technologies across LATAM, and handle projects of handover of new sites between the construction and service teams ensuring site operational readiness.Develop business cases to support new solutions project implementation.Plan, coordinate, implement, and control project plans and schedules according to specifications and scope.Monitor project risks, progress, budget, and performance.Support building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the region who influence or are impacted by the projects.Align internal interfaces and handle escalations.Maintain an overview of work package delivery within the project and be prepared to communicate status on time, budget, scope, and risks.Qualifications: Educational Background: Engineering degree. Project management education is a plus.Certifications: PMP or Prince2 Certification is a plus.Industry Experience: At least 1 year in the wind industry is desirable.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across various departments, regions, and cultures.Technical Expertise: Experience in wind turbine installation, commissioning, and maintenance is advantageous.Analytical Skills: Capable of identifying opportunities for improvement in multidisciplinary processes.Leadership: Ability to lead calls with multidisciplinary teams.Communication Skills: Proficient in English (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation).Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.Effective communicator at all levels.Diplomatic and determined in time-sensitive situations.Communicates upwards, outwards, and downwards in an open, direct, and honest manner to ensure full transparency and alignment.Approaches projects with curiosity and implements them diligently.Acts actively and passionately with a focus on cooperation, stakeholder management, and prioritizing "what is best for Vestas."We offer an exciting job with great development opportunities in a progressive, committed, and international environment.
