*HIRING INTERNATIONALLY* We're an US e-commerce remote company looking for a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize our inventory across all platforms, ensuring we stay in stock on all SKUs and meet the demand on Amazon, D2C, and retail channels.
This role will work closely with inventory planners, forecasting demand, placing purchase orders, and managing them end-to-end—from supplier to Amazon fulfillment centers or our warehouse.
The ideal candidate is proactive, a problem-solver, and proficient in Excel and Amazon Seller Central.
RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory Management & Forecasting Own and execute inventory forecasting across Amazon, D2C, and retail channels using the ERP system and inventory planner to maintain optimal stock levels.
Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment based on sales velocity to avoid stockouts Support the Head of Operations in monitoring COGS, supplier performance, and key KPIs.
Provide regular reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Purchase Order & Supplier Coordination Place and manage purchase orders with manufacturers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Engage in daily communication with suppliers, confirming lead times, tracking shipments, and addressing any availability concerns.
Coordinate product lifecycle management, including discontinuation of obsolete products and execution of new product launches.
Identify supply risks and propose solutions to ensure continuous supply and mitigate potential issues.
Fulfillment & Shipment Management Create and track FBA shipments within Seller Central, including troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Troubleshoot issues with 3PL providers and Amazon FBA shipments, ensuring smooth and timely resolution.
Monitor and ensure fulfillment across multiple channels, including Amazon, D2C, and retail, to maintain high service levels.
Communication, Collaboration, and Process Improvement Communicate stock updates across departments, keeping all relevant teams informed of inventory levels and potential issues.
Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment on inventory needs, order timelines, and any process adjustments.
Provide regular insights to internal teams based on customer and supplier feedback, helping inform business decisions.
Develop and maintain SOPs to establish clear standards and improve operational efficiency Lead quarterly improvement initiatives, gathering feedback from the team and adjusting reduce lead times, enhance order accuracy, or improve overall fulfillment efficiency.
