3Rd Shift Team Leader

The Shift Lead position encompasses the roles of organizing the work and directing the daily and weekly activities of the 2nd shift, or the applicable area(s) of responsibility to meet or exceed customer requirements, develop the staff, manage the performance and relations of the team, and guide the direction of the team. He/she is responsible for the safety, quality, cost control, housekeeping, and the efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials. He/she must maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable statutory requirements, including OSHA, EEO, EPA, etc. The Shift Leader will identify and implement any necessary changes to meet established objectives, improve performance, and enhance team dynamics. He or she will provide leadership and coaching to the team while driving change in the organization.

3 - 5 years Production leadership experience
Excellent organizational skills
SAP Experience
MS Office Experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Lotus Notes)
Willingness to learn & operate our production equipment/processes (welding, CNC, brazing experience would be a plus!)
Experience performing audits
Proficiency with inspection tools (gages, calipers, metric system, etc.)
Proficient Blueprint reading skills
Experience leading a team using coaching skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and willingness to support/implement.
