OSM Thome is currently seeking an experienced Ablebody Seafarer (AB) to join our team on board the SKANDI AFRICA vessel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on deck, including cleaning, painting, and securing cargo
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Operate deck machinery and equipment, such as winches and cranes
- Assist with the safe navigation of the vessel, including lookout duties and monitoring of navigational equipment
- Participate in emergency drills and be prepared to respond to emergencies as required
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on board

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ablebody Seafarer (AB)
- Mandatory: Rule II/5 and rofic. in Surv. Craft & Resc. Boats Cert (CESS), MCIA (HLO), Fast rescue boats, and advanced English.
- Valid STCW certification
- Proficiency in English language
- Strong knowledge of deck operations and equipment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
