- Summary/purpose of the job:_
Drive sustainable profitable sales & IFF market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing/ building solid customer relationship, leading & coordinating IFF activities and promoting/selling relevant IFF ingredients solutions for a given geography and customers.
- Background/Academic Qualification:_
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Food or Chemical Engineering, Business or Marketing.
- Experience:_
- Between 3-6 years of Sales experience in other industries preferably Chemical/ Ingredients, Beverage Industries etc.
- Technical or Marketing experiences is a plus
- Languages:_
Fluent in English, Intermediate level in Spanish
- Skills:_
- Passion for Ingredients for Food & Beverage industries with strong interests in sales, product development, consumers, and market understanding (Marketing/R&D/CI).
- Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting) and work with IT systems.

- Major responsibilities:_
- Understand specific market and customer environments.
- Understand specific customer activities, strategies, brands, markets, and consumers via multi-source (public information, annual reports, press, meetings, etc).
- Develop awareness and understanding of multi-level cross-functional customer organization focusing on building enhanced relationships with key customer decision makers/influencers and developing customer intimacy plan.
- Understanding of customer decision-making criteria.
- Contribute to strategic commercial negotiation (core listing, annual pricing, payment terms, rebates/cost savings agreements, supply agreements).
- Identify prospect and customer opportunities and build business case.
- Develop commercial Go 2 Market strategy for allocated customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute high-quality account plans aligned with internal stakeholders.
- Set clear commercial targets, annually aligned with the strategic plan.
- Define and request the required account resources.
- Qualify business opportunities with input from IC&D/ Category management and Cost to Serve guidelines.
- Promote product portfolio.
- Provide detailed project insight (customer/internal perspective) to clearly define brief parameters and capture them in Project management system.
- Organize a formal commercial kick off and finalize action plan & timetable.
- Prepare & coordinate presentation materials together with Marketing.
- Define and stage a submission presentation that maximizes IFF commercial advantage and resources. Make final decision on Ingredients submissions.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate project results and/or organize internal debriefing.
- Ensure optimal engagement of customer network/influencers.
- Coordinate win/loss analysis and share project learnings.
- Ensure client supply chain objectives, processes, organization, and scorecards are well communicated to IFF Operations.
- Consult with customer service on key customer supply issues and agree on a communication plan.
- Agree and support the implementation of optimum supply chain solutions for customers and IFF (Leadtime, inventory, supply network, etc.).
- Have a clear understanding of customer regulatory requirements/changes and regularly inform GRA/IC&D.
- Gather and share with IFF stakeholders' intelligence on the industry, market, consumer, and technology from daily interactions with customer/ industry network.
- Foster and lead knowledge building on Competitors (people, products, wins losses, account, country, category, strategy, SWOT, etc.).
- To leverage IFF's consumer understanding and strategic insight to generate customer excitement to fill their consumers' unmet needs with IFF Ingredients Solutions.
- Commercially lead or support category platforms and Go 2 Market Sales Solutions.
- Drive personal development. Partner with the manager to ensure SMART objective
