DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial reporting, managing operating capital, the accounting function, implementing SOP's and improving internal financial controls. Managing, recruiting, developing and supporting the finance teamFinancial reporting: Collate, prepare and interpret reportsManage the accounts payable, and accounts receivable functionsEnsuring tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulationsManging the audit process and ensuring financial statements are completedManaging budgets, variance analysis, identify and implement cost cutting and process improvements across the groupImplement, enhance and oversee internal controls, SOP's and promote best practicesLiaising with managerial level staff and third-party stakeholdersREQUIREMENTS:5 Years' experience as an Accountant or in a similar roleMust have experience in managing a teamTertiary Financial Management / Accounting qualificationSound understanding of the finance function and a hands-on approach5 years' experience on Sage 50/ Pastel Evolution or similar systemPrevious experience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectorsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisationStrong communication skillsMust have strong attention to detail and a proven track record
