DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial reporting, managing operating capital, the accounting function, implementing SOP's and improving internal financial controlsManaging, recruiting, developing and supporting the finance teamFinancial reporting: Collate, prepare and interpret reportsManage the accounts payable, and accounts receivable functionsEnsuring tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulationsManaging the audit process and ensuring financial statements are completedManaging budgets, variance analysis, identify and implement cost cutting and process improvements across the groupImplement, enhance and oversee internal controls, SOP's and promote best practicesLiaising with managerial level staff and third-party stakeholdersREQUIREMENTS: 5 years' experience managing a team in a similar roleTertiary Financial Management / Accounting qualificationValid code 8 Drivers Licenses (own vehicle) – advantageousFull MS OfficeSage 50/ Pastel Evolution or similar systemSound understanding of the finance function and a hands-on approachExperience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectors - advantageousAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisationMust have strong attention to detail and a proven track record
