We are now looking for an **Accountant** to join our **Finance & Control **team.
In this position, you will report to the Chief Accountant in Wärtsilä, and the preferred location of the position is in **Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil**.
**What you will be doing?
**
**As Accountant, your work will focus on these responsibilities**:
- Support the Accounting Team to prepare the Financial Statements according to IFRS
- Knowledge and ownership of accounting processes e.g.
accruals, intercompany, reconciliation processes, payroll, revenue and expense operations
- Monthly closing activities
- Classification and analysis of assets, liabilities, expenses and income
- Analysis of payroll
- Support the Area Head and Chief Accountant in some reports and activities
- Accounts reconciliation
- Attending to internal and external audits
- Work along with other departments
**What it takes**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting completed
- Active CPA is necessary
- Experience in Accounting Area
- Kownledge in SAP FI
- Knowledge of fixed assets and lease contracts
- Advanced English
- Advanced Excel
- Spanish will be a plus
