With a presence stretching from Johannesburg to Vancouver, Sydney to Lima, you are part of a global brand that supports creativity, fosters innovation, and encourages you to think big, share ideas and be yourself.Job Purpose:Prepare all local and required Tax Declaration (Brazilian Law).Test and audit internal processes and controls.Improve the utilization of actual business tools.Conduct root cause analysis to rectify erroneous transactions and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.Record all business transactions in the Accounting System.Prepare Accounting books.Support all local accounting principles, based on generally accepted accounting principles.Oversee cycle-count programs.Inventory Valuation.Purchase price variance analysis.Prepare Bank Reconciliations; Check Payments; All Tax Payments; Customs Payments.Maintain fixed asset register; Report capital expenditures; Conduct asset audits.Prepare Account Analysis.Prepare Annexes to the Financial Statements.Prepare Monthly Financial Statements.Preparation and supervise Balance sheet (USGAAP and Brazil accounting principles).Manage cash balance by monitoring/reconciliation weekly banking activity to ensure cash availability for timely payment of vendor.Monthly taxes preparation, regional report.Cash collection and Supervision of A/R, A/P.Processes and inventory process.Help with all internal control and financial reporting.Job Requirements:• 5+ years in general accountant role in a corporate/computerized environment;• Significant experience working with SAP, ERP system, Microsoft Products;• Upper Intermediate English (written communication);Komatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
