We are looking for our newAccounting Analystto join our team, who will be responsible for conducting accounting, tax and control processes to provide accurate data for decision-making in the various business segments, assisting with reliable data in daily routines and new projects.
Key Responsibilities:Perform accounting for the company's contingencies, aiming to demonstrate the updated obligation in accounting books;
Analyze, control and monitor the activities inherent to the Company's accounting area, in accordance with the activity matrix;
Perform accounting account reconciliations, using the Excel tool and the internal system (Accounting and Financial System);
Provide accounting assistance, technically guiding the areas and people involved on internal and external standards and procedures;
Support the team, the closing process and reporting of the group's companies in the internal systems for Maersk Line, aiming to meet the agreed deadlines;
Ensure the delivery of ancillary obligations, aiming to meet all legal deadlines;
Ensure the accounting of the company's contingencies, aiming to guarantee the updated exposure;
Ensure accounting records related to invested companies, such as investment updates, aiming to demonstrate the real accounting value of the asset;
Ensure the reconciliation of billing system processes, ensuring that the numbers are duly recorded in the books;
Perform other activities with the same level of complexity as those described above, when requested by the manager.We are looking for:Knowledge of accounting routines and standards
Knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Microsiga and others)
Completed Higher Education
