Accounting Analyst & Payroll Coordinator

Support Services Group is a fast-growing, high-touch, global outsourcing partner providing omnichannel contact center solutions across various industries.
We are seeking an experienced, Accounting Analyst & Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding Accounting Shared Services Team.Duties/Responsibilities:Transaction recording (client invoicing, vendor bill recording, credit card transactions)Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuraciesPrepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishmentsAnalyze compensation-related data including wages and bonusesOversee payroll transactions (e.g.
via e-banking)Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and recordsProcess benefit costs, like insurance fees and sick leavesDesign, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processesReport to management on payroll issues and changesAnswer employees' questions about salaries and taxStay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax lawsRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong financial analysis skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalWork collaboratively with other accounting within organizationAdvance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel)Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar roleDeep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulationsHands-on experience with payroll softwareExcellent analytical skillsThe ability to work under tight deadlinesEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant1+ years of accounting experiencePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Available to work Onsite and Remotely if required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
