Accounting Assistant

We're looking for a motivated and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team and support our tax consultants and professionals. You'll play a vital role in assisting with various tax-related tasks, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service.In this role, you will:Assist tax consultants and professionals with a variety of tax-related tasks, including data entry, research, and calculations.Prepare and organize all tax documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Maintain detailed client records and ensure all files are organized efficiently.Answer client questions regarding tax matters in a clear, concise, and professional manner.Research and stay up-to-date on current tax regulations and compliance requirements.Perform other administrative duties as assigned, supporting the smooth operation of the tax department.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or tax-related role (or equivalent education).Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data accurately and identify discrepancies.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain tax concepts to clients.A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
Bonus points for:Experience with tax software programs (e.g., TurboTax, ProSeries).An understanding of basic tax principles and regulations.A positive and personable demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
