Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Controller to oversee our client's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks or a similar software is required, and experience with AP is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Improve and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Assist with tax audits and tax returns to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure proper auditing processes. Conduct regular ledger reconciliation. Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial data. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statements. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel). Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
