The LATAM Stores Accounting organization supports our financial reporting, internal control, and also supports new business launches for Amazon in consumer products, initiatives, merchant, operations, logistics, and payments.We are currently looking for a manager-level candidate to help support business growth in Amazon's Sao Paulo, Brazil office.
Successful candidates may have held manager accounting or finance positions in public or private companies and demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field- Thorough knowledge of International, Brazilian, and U.S. GAAP (including the FASB Codification) and related research tools- Experience with accounting closing process, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines- Written and spoken fluency in English and Portuguese requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Operational accounting experience with international companies- Experience handling large amounts of data and concepts of data analytics and SQL is desirable- Written and spoken advanced in SpanishOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
